Stand-up comedian Apoorva Kshitij Singh has been arrested for making a satirical video aimed at the Newari community through social media YouTube.
In the video uploaded on the YouTube channel 'Comedy Cafe' last week, he satirized Newari lobz.
After this video became controversial, it became viral on other social media as well. After this, he apologized by uploading another video.
Talking to Tekpana, Metropolitan Police Complex Kathmandu Spokesperson Superintendent of Police Dineshraj Mainali informed that Singh has been taken into custody and an investigation is underway.
