Action will be taken against flying drones around Tribhuvan Airport
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has warned to take action if drones are found flying around the Tribhuvan International Airport. In issuing a notification on Friday, the authority also informed that there is a legal provision that drones cannot be flown in the area around 5 km from the airport.
Even though there is such a provision in the Drone Flight Rules 2021, the fact that the drone flying activity is still taking place has drawn the attention of the authority. Disclosing the rules through the notice, the authority has requested not to fly drones and not to do such activities from now on.
